PRESCOTT- The Embry Riddle Eagles men’s soccer team smacked seven goals, four in the first half, in route to a 7-4 victory against The Providence Christian Sea Beggars in the final regular season home game on Saturday, October 28th.

It only took 50 seconds for the Eagles to find the back of the net as Nicholas Goldstein opened the scoring, assisted by Jacob Baker.

David Bates would extend the Eagle advantage to three with goals in the sixth minute and 23rd minute. The first score was assisted by Tristan Tomburo and Simon Jensen, while the second goal was assisted by Parker Duncan.

Providence Christian would decrease the deficit in the 31st minute on a un-assisted score by Adrian Saucedo.

It would only take six minutes before Embry Riddle got that goal back as Baker sent one into the back of the net, assisted by Marc Birkvald and Jake Hutto.

At the 60th minute in the game, four goals would be scored between the two squads in a ten minute time period.

Sergio Gonzalez increased the Embry Riddle lead to four, assisted by Alan Wallingford.
