Attending these events is an excellent way of finding out what is happening in local politics.

Citizens for America: Held 1st Thursday of the month.

The guest speakers will be Sylvia Allen, LD 6 and Michael Carmody, Advancement Representative Arizona, Turning Point USA.

Sylvia Allen is the State Education Committee Chair; President Pro Tempore of the Senate; Arizona Community College 2016 Legislator of the Year; member of Arizona School Administrators Association; 2016 Champion of Education and the Arizona Parents for Education 2016 Golden Apple Award.

She will discuss how Superintendent Kathy Hoffman (D) intends to push gender neutral classrooms; allow Planned Parenthood /California style Comprehensive Sex Education in Arizona Schools that can be construed to normalize and condone sexual contact between minor children.

Michael Cormody, Advancement Representative, Arizona will give us an update on Turning Point USA ( TPUSA) We will be planning another donor TPUSA event in first quarter 2020!

Republican Men’s Forum (YRMF): Held 2nd Monday of the month

In December, the forum will have a Christmas luncheon and their featured guest speaker will be Mark Spencer from Judicial Watch.

When: Monday, December 9 2019

Time: 11:30 AM-1:00 PM

Where: Hotel St. Michael’s ballroom, 205 W. Gurley Street, Prescott.

Mingus Mountain Republican Club: Held 2nd Tuesday of the month.

In the month of December, the guest speakers will be Catherine Barrett, Phil Terbell and Andy Groseta. Catherine will speak on Classroom Code of Ethics and HB 2002-2019. Catherine sought the help from Representative Mark Finchem LD-11) to sponsor a bill that would put into law protections for students and teachers who have been the victims of politically motivated bullying while attending classes, or teaching classes in various public school systems in Arizona.

Phil and Andy are prominent citizens of Cottonwood who will speak about Cottonwood-Oak Creek school consolidation.

Time: Doors open at 11 AM, lunch (optional) line forms at 11:15 AM and meeting starts at 11:45 AM

Cost: Optional lunch is $12.00, no lunch venue fee is $5.00

Republican Women of Prescott (RWOP): In December, the organization is having their annual Holiday Bazaar and Bake Shoppe. There will be some holiday entertainment and very limited RWOP business at this celebration.

When: Tuesday, December 10, 2019

Time: Doors open at 9:30 AM for SHOPPING and will remain open until 2:30PM. The luncheon/meeting will be from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.

Where: Prescott Resort, 1500 E. Highway 69, Prescott

Cost: Anyone is welcome to shop but please note that luncheons are for RWOP membership only and not open to the general public.

Reporters are welcome and they have a press table set up at the rear of the room for their use. This way, they may come for the meeting without the need to purchase lunch. Discusses issues that effect the taxpayers of Yavapai County.

Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic (ConCR): Held 4th Saturday of the month. This is a membership organization but admission is free.

Please note that ConCR is a private organization and not affiliated with any political party. Most members are affiliated with the Republican Party or are independents who lean conservative.

Yavapai County Republican Women (YCRW): Held the 4th Monday of the month.
