Fiesta Bowl Charities and KaBOOM! to Build New Playground with Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona

Over 200 volunteers from Fiesta Bowl Charities and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona will join KaBOOM! On Saturday, March 23, to transform an empty site into a state-of-the-art playground in just one day adjacent to the Boys & Girls Club’s Prescott Clubhouse. The new playground will be one of the few playgrounds in the downtown Prescott area and help make play the easy choice for children and families in Prescott, open for all to use.

The events will commence at 335 E Aubrey Street with a kick-off ceremony at 8:30 am, immediately followed by construction, anticipated to wrap up around 2:30 pm.  A ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate the playground will follow at approximately 3:00 pm.   This community effort is powered by collaboration and volunteers.  Interested volunteers may sign up by visiting https://www.tfaforms.com/4716142 or calling the Boys & Girls Clubs at 928.776.8686.

Fiesta Bowl Charities awarded a grant to Boys & Girls Clubs for the much needed playground, with KaBOOM! working as a partner to help make the build a reality.  Together, Fiesta Bowl Charities and KaBOOM have built seven playgrounds in Arizona. Fiesta Bowl Charities supports KaBOOM! in promoting and protecting a child’s right to active play at home, at school and in the community.
