As part of the College of Aviation Seminar Series, Mr. Mike Olbinski, famous storm photographer, will be giving a presentation entitled “The Art of Storm Chasing” in the Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium at Embry-Riddle on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 12:00 – 12:50 PM. His presentation will include a bit of history about himself, how he got into storm chasing, the big breaks along the way, and how he has become a renowned storm photographer. He will include stories about how he obtained some of his footage and will share many of his photos and time-lapse clips with us. His presentation will end with a 10-minute planetarium show inside the dome of the planetarium of his time-lapse photography collection entitled “Monsoon IV”.
