ERAU to Hold National Security and Intelligence Symposium

WHAT: “The Northern Arc of Crisis: Persistent Instability in Upper South Asia,” hosted by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Prescott’s College of Security & Intelligence, the only college of its kind in the country.

The Symposium will examine the arc of crisis in Upper South Asia, an arena of persistent conflict that involves the cross-cutting interests of the United States, India, China and Russia, as well as those of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Specifically, our focus will be on Afghanistan, Pakistan, or Kashmir, with reference to domestic instability, or on the international dimensions of the regional conflicts.

We are pleased to welcome keynote speakers Ambassadors Ronald E. Neumann and Wendy J. Chamberlin. Respectively, these Ambassadors served in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The sessions are free and open to media and the public.

Ambassadors will be available for interviews on Thursday.
