On December 19, it was my pleasure to take 12 children and several adults to hand-deliver personal gifts that were donated by many nonprofits from the Bazaar to 40 elderly individuals at Casa de Pinos! In addition, we carefully packaged cookies, children-made cards and lots of love with the gifts. Here are a few photos from this event.

We received dozens of comments (the children and I) from the elderly individuals:

One woman said “I have not received a present for years…thank you so much!”

Another woman said “What’s even more special is seeing and listening to all the children here.”

In addition, we found out that one grandmother living there was raising her 3 ½ year old granddaughter. The next day, I brought several toys back to her for Christmas.

Several individuals broke out in tears as we wished them a Merry Christmas…

In addition, the children were moved to know that their effort made so many people happy. That’s worth everything!
