Today marked the 2009 Opening Day Ceremonies for the Prescott Little League at Bill Vallely Field. Big kids and little kids and some kids who never grew up all showed up to celebrate the beginning of the Little League Baseball season. Well over a dozen teams were on hand and dressed in their uniforms for the festivities.

This year, there will be six divisions competing:

• Major Division
• Challenger Division (for youth in the area who are physically or mentally challenged.)
• T-Ball Division
• Coach-Pitch Division
• Minor Division
• Junior Division
