Annual “Toys for Kids” Event Held at Tim’s Toyota Center on Thursday

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ – The Arizona Sundogs and McWhite’s North American Van Lines teamed up on Thursday for McWhite’s Annual “Toys for Kids” event, held at Tim’s Toyota Center.

Wearing donated replica Sundogs jerseys, local children were escorted to the arena by members of the area police departments for a tour of the building. At the end of the tour, the children were surprised in the team locker room by Sundogs players with brand new toys for the holidays.

“This has been a yearly event that the Sundogs have always enjoyed being a part of,” said Sundogs General Manager Chris Presson. “It’s a wonderful way for our players to connect with some local children, and create a few more smiles with the holiday season underway.”

The event lasted from 4:00-6:00 PM with two tours being conducted. Children stepped on the ice, visited the video production booth, and pressed the goal horn before finally visiting the locker room. Players visited with the children and signed autographs after handing out the toy gifts.

“This is always an important time of year to remember the less fortunate, and I’m glad we can hold this every year to remind us all about that,” added Ed Lepordo, Owner/Operator of McWhite’s North American Van Lines.

The toy teddy bears and trucks were provided by McWhite’s North American Van Lines, located in the Prescott Valley area.
