Don't forget to put your guess in for how many page views that Prescott eNews will have so far in 2009 by midnight tonight! You could win a prize package worth $192.

millionOne million and counting...

Back on June 12, we told you that Prescott eNews was approaching a milestone - 1 million page views for 2009. Since it had taken us 18 months to reach our first million page views, reaching the second million in less than 6 months was very exciting. We reached that 1,000,000 mark on Sunday, June 14, actually.

To celebrate, we decided to have a contest - guess how many page views we'll have for 2009 by midnight of June 30. We also promised a goodie bag worth over $100.

The Goodie Bag

Well, first of all, let's bring you up to date on the contents of the goodie bag:

One night's stay at the Prescott Log Cabin - value: $129

The Prescott Log Cabin is one of the premiere Bed'N'Breakfast locations in our community. Recommended in Frommer's Arizona 2008, the accomodations are cozy and inviting; the breakfast is delicious and the setting is wonderfully romantic. If you're a local resident, it will be a terrific staycation destination. Or, maybe you have out-of-town visitors coming: a flip of the coin will help you decide who gets the house and who gets the getaway. Seriously, the accommodations are fantastic, the hospitality is warm and genuine. Even if you don't win, you should book a night just for fun!

Some date restrictions will apply.

A gift certificate for $50 at Gurley Street Grill

What can I say? The food is excellent - have you tried those sweet potato fries? No one I've seen yet can resist them. And that's just the appetizer! $50 will buy a nice dinner for two!

A pair of free movie tickets to the next Prescott Film Festival and Series - value: $13.00

The next movie promises to be a hoot, although, really, it's two films. The preceding short film is called Zombie Prom; a hilarious musical take-off on horror comic books from the 1950's. Paper or Plastic is the feature film, and it's about various competitors who are headed to Las Vegas where they will go for the coveted title, "Best Grocery Store Bagger". There's laughter, emotion and fascinating stories, as you'll find yourself cheering for a bagger here and there. As a bonus, filmmaker Justine Jacob will be on hand to answer questions about how the film was made. The movie is playing on July 8th at 6:30 pm.

Total package price: $192
