It's been a busy week in the quad-city area, especially out in Chino Valley, where they had their annual Territorial Days Celebration, which included a movie, a parade and the awesome Corn Dinner.
While we didn't go to the movie on Friday night, by all reports, a grand time was had by all. We did cover the parade, however, and the Corn Dinner. We even paid special attention to Charlie Arnold, who managed to eat 31 ears of corn for a good cause. But, we didn't publish it here on Prescott eNews. As a matter of fact, you may have noticed that things have been a tiny bit quieter than usual here at Prescott eNews.
Why, you ask?
Well, it's time to let the secret out of the bag: the Prescott eNews family is growing. We are proud to announce our new site: ChinoValleyeNews.com!
This new site, which will serve the Chino Valley and Paulden area, launched quietly on September 1. There will be fresh new articles up every day, just like Prescott eNews has. Some of the articles and columns will be found on both sites, because the content is of interest to both communities. Some stories will be on only one site or the other, because the information is a bit more localized.
We've been planning this new site for quite some time - we believe that Chino Valley deserves fresh news every day. We're also looking forward to the content that Chino Valley Citizen Reporters contribute. We know that the Chino Valley eNews site will become an integral part of the community, just as Prescott eNews has here in our area.
So, we hope you will keep reading Prescott eNews, but please check out Chino Valley eNews when you have a chance. And, if you have friends and family in Chino Valley or Paulden, please share the news with them, too! We'll remind our readers here from time to time to check out the site, too.
In the meantime, you might want to check out a couple of these stories that were on Chino Valley eNews in the last few days:
