Update: Service is restored.

At this time, all telephone service with the Chino Valley Police Department has been lost due to a phone line being cut at an unknown location.  911 calls to the department are being forwarded to a department cell phone.

The department has been attempting to work with Qwest in an attempt to have other department numbers forwarded but so far, Qwest has been unable to do so.  Qwest has stated phone service will be interrupted until 7:30 p.m. this evening.

Citizens with an emergency are still advised to dial 911 for emergency assistance.
