WANTED: Troy James Lake, Suspect in 2 Shootings

Attempted Homicide Suspect Troy James Lake is being sought by Prescott Police. He could be armed and dangerous.

troyjameslakeOn 12/7/09 at approximately 1:45 A.M Prescott Police Officers responded to the apartment building at 180 South Bradshaw Drive in reference to possible gunshots fired in the parking lot. Upon Officers arrival they discovered an unattended parked vehicle had been shot several times. Prescott Police Detectives responded to the scene to gather evidence and interview witnesses. The Detectives secured from the scene at approximately 8:00 A.M.

Later on that night at approximately 6:34 P. M. another report of shots fired came from 180 South Bradshaw Drive. Officers discovered that two victims had been shot at while sitting in a vehicle which was parked in the parking lot. The passenger of the vehicle was hit in the arm and transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center in the vehicle that she had been shot in. The victim was ultimately treated and released from the hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not hit during the shooting. Detectives received information that the suspects involved in this shooting was 24- year old Troy James Lake and 39- year old Daria Brill.

Daria Brill, 39 years old, is in custody.
On 12/8/09 Daria Brill was located and admitted to being involved in the second shooting. A search warrant was executed on a local motel room where Daria Brill and Troy Lake were residing when the shooting occurred. Evidence linking them to the crime was located in this motel room.

Daria Brill was arrested and booked in the Camp Verde Jail on two counts of attempted homicide, two counts of endangerment and two counts of aggravated assault.

The Prescott Police Department is still actively looking for Troy James Lake and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. His description is; Caucasian male, 6' 2", 180 lbs, brown hair (buzz cut), brown eyes.
