When City Councilman Bob Bell received the news, he said, "He's too young to be having that happen to him, but there have been a lot of stressful situations lately. I feel like he really has been dedicated to giving everything he can for the City, and he tries hard to do the right thing. He's developed a competent backup staff who will keep the City on track. Of course, we're wishing the best for him and he's in our thoughts and prayers. Tell him to hurry and get well."
