On May 18th members of the Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT) along with numerous Yavapai County and state agencies participated in operation “Spring Clean Up”. The operation targeted approximately 50 individuals with active warrants for their arrest for drug related crimes.
The operation was based out of the Prescott Valley Police Department and officers from the Prescott Valley Police Department, Prescott Police Department, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Cottonwood Police Department, Arizona DPS and more participated. Part of the resources included SWAT teams from the Prescott Valley Police Department, Prescott Police, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office and the Verde Valley regional SWAT team. In total approximately 90 law enforcement professionals participated in the operation.
Officers made arrests around the entire tri city area. SWAT teams assisted with the arrests as well as the execution of several search warrants on residences around the county related to drug activity.
Thus far the operation has netted 46 arrests. Investigators seized 8 vehicles, drugs and guns.
Wednesday was the culmination of an ongoing investigation conducted by the Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking over the past several months.
