Zoo Ribbon Cutting & 35th Anniversary Celebration

Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary has a lot to celebrate. This year the zoo will mark its 35th anniversary as an animal sanctuary. The festivities will begin on Thursday, October 5th at 4:00pm at a special Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the NEW Capuchin Monkey exhibit and night house. This project was funded by donors to give two monkeys permanent homes where they could live side by side companionably. This event will also recognize HPZS’s 35-years of wildlife conservation and education in Prescott. The ceremony will be hosted by the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.

On Saturday, October 7th, 2023 from 9am-5pm, the Zoo will celebrate our 35th Anniversary with the community. All day, the zoo will offer discounted admission of $3.50 to all attendees. HPZS Members will receive Free admission. Activities include DJ, Bounce House, Concessions, Anniversary treats for the animals, a special scavenger hunt and dessert (while supplies last.)

All proceeds support Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, looking forward to the next 35 years!
