Temperatures to Drop
Featured

17 October 2017   Dr. Curtis James

It’s going to get colder out there.

Forecast Discussion:

The ridge of high pressure that has brought above normal temperatures will gradually flatten as a series of disturbances moves across the Great Basin. The first disturbance is expected for Wed. – Thurs., followed by another stronger trough on Friday. These disturbances will bring breezy conditions (becoming windy on Friday) and gradual cooling from Wed. – Fri. Also a slight chance of light precipitation is expected on Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning.

By the weekend or early next week, temperatures will be close to normal for this time of year.

C. James
