Items Needed for Infants and Toddlers in Local Foster Care – Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation

Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation and the Hampton Inn have teamed up to meet the unmet needs of local infants and toddlers in foster care by hosting an Infant and Tot Drive through the end of August 2022.

“We were recently contacted by a woman who was fostering her 18-month-old nephew.” Said Mona Stephens of Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation. ”He arrived in her care with only the clothes on his back and the aunt was struggling to get diapers, clothing, and other essentials for him.”

When Angela Johnson of the Hampton Inn heard this story and how Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation was able to help with donations they received for infants from their Toy Chest program, she wanted to ensure others could get the same support. Thus, the Infant and Tot Drive came to be.

Those who want to help are encouraged to donate the following items: baby formula (especially for sensitivities), baby food, diapers, pullups, baby wipes, bibs, burp cloths, bottles, and receiving blankets. All donations must be dropped off at the Hampton Inn on 3453 Ranch Drive, in Prescott by Wednesday, August 31st.

All donated items will be divided between Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation, DCS, and the Arms of Love Closet to be distributed to families in need.
