Drew Ryniewicz Honored With the Key to the Chino Valley Photos by Tyler Morgan

Drew, who won the hearts of those in Chino Valley, is honored at the Town Council meeting.

Drew Ryniewicz is in the spotlight yet once again, this time in Chino Valley, where the Town Council honored her with a special proclamation and the "key to the City".

The Proclamation:

Whereas, Drew Ryniewicz, a fourteen year old Chino Valley resident, shared her singing talent at auditions for the X Factor and was selected out of thousands to become a final contestant on the show’s first season; and

Whereas, Drew won our hearts with her poise, humility, graciousness, beautiful smile, teenage enthusiasm, and her love of song; and

Whereas, Drew, her mother Roberta, her father Andrew, and her brothers Maxwell and Trevor have proudly called Chino Valley, Arizona their home since 2003; and

Whereas, Drew honed her talent at home, school and church, and began developing her home town fan base by winning Prescott Idol, Prescott Valley Idol, and Northern Arizona’s Got Talent competitions in 2010; and

Whereas, Since the people of Chino Valley began watching one of its own on a national stage, citizens, businesses, and organizations have rallied in support, with a banner across the highway, signs appearing on vehicles, lawns, fences, and business windows, store displays, encouraging words on Facebook and Twitter, and X Factor votes; and

Whereas, The people of Chino Valley acknowledge Drew for the gracious image she brought to Chino Valley and wish her lifelong blessings and success; Now, Therefore, I, Chris Marley, Mayor of the Town of Chino Valley, Arizona, on behalf of the Town Council and citizens of Chino Valley, do hereby express our appreciation for Drew Ryniewicz’s accomplishment and gratitude for the pride and recognition she has brought to Chino Valley.

Afterwards, Drew tweeted, "I'm so thankful to my town for the proclamation and key to the city! #honored. Love drew<3"
