Apple's stock market topped the $500 billion mark today in early trading. Right now, it's the world's most valuable company. Actually, it's one of the five most valuable companies at any time in history.
For the record, that's almost twice as Microsoft's current valuation.
Apple now has a higher valuation than the GDP of Poland, Belgium, Sweden, Saudi Arabia or Taiwan.
