Hundreds of high schoolers paraded around the Courthouse Square last evening, as part of a pre-Homecoming ritual. The band played, Homecoming Queen and King candidates rode in lovely Hondas, and the football team all piled up on top of a firetruck.
The parade wasn't long - just once around the square, and then to Mile High Middle School, where they held a bonfire, setting a paper-mache' Bulldog head on fire. That was in honor of the Goldwater Bulldogs, their rival for this Friday night's football game.
The Homecoming game starts at 7pm at Prescott High School.
