Northpoint students are raising money for their trip to Cambodia in January - and what could be more fun than a Mardi Gras in December?
Jeff Dyer, the Language Arts Teacher at Northpoint, wrote, "Join us for an evening of live music, Cajun food, dancing, and a silent auction this Friday in the Northpoint Cafeteria starting at 6 pm. That's right, it's time for MARDI GRAS IN DECEMBER! Support your local Cambodia travelers by attending this event. Pre-sale tickets cost $10, with admission at the door costing $12. With live music and tasty food, this event is a bargain!"

The COL takes place at Northpoint Academy on Thursday from 5-7 pm.
The Senior class will also be traveling in January, taking a trip to Washington, D.C. as part of their Senior Project.
You can also help them raise money easily - just eat at Wildflower Bread Company tonight. Wildflower will donate 15% of your meal to the intrepid traveling troops. Here's a message from the students:
"Here's your chance to get WILD and stop in at Wildflower Bakery this Wednesday evening Dec 14th anytime between 5-8pm to support the seniors waiting tables who are going to Washington, DC. Wildflower Bakery will donate 15% of the sales from your meals and all tips placed in the NELA jars on the tables go directly to students fundraising efforts. We look forward to seeing you there, remember to give the attached coupon to your cashier so NELA gets credit."
Click here to get the Dinner Coupon which ensures the students are credited with your meal. As a matter of fact, the sheet contains 4 coupons, so share it with your friends!
