PRESCOTT, AZ - Parents of children approaching kindergarten age are invited to the second annual tri-cities Kindergarten Fair on Saturday, February 25, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The fair will be held at Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus in Building 19, Room 147. Admission is FREE and limited childcare is available for children ages 3 months to six years.

Parents will learn how to tell if their child is ready for kindergarten, learn more about kindergarten classrooms in the tri-city area, and will receive information about school buses, cafeteria food and after-school options and programs.

Schools from the tri-city area will have tables set up with information about their kindergarten programs, the enrollment process and many other topics. Two breakout sessions covering kindergarten readiness, and “typical” kindergarten day will be offered as well.
