US Vets Receives a Check from APS

The President and CEO of APS, Don Brandt, came to Prescott on Friday afternoon to deliver a check to the US Vets organization.

The Governing Board of the Prescott Unified School District (PUSD) considered proposals for three properties at the Tuesday night meeting. 

In a brief, but significant, council meeting this morning, the Prescott City Council unanimously voted to hire Michael Lamar as the next City Manager. 

The Prescott City Council has scheduled a Special Voting Meeting for Monday morning at 9 AM. They plan to vote on selecting Michael Lamar as the new City Manager.

The Prescott Fire Department received word on Friday that they have been awarded the SAFER grant. 

Even though the match didn’t count for division rankings, the women on the two local collegiate volleyball teams played hard and offered a spirited and entertaining event for the home crowd.
