New attractions at the Box Out Breast Cancer Basketball Game

Saturday, Prescott High School and Bradshaw Mountain High School Booster Clubs in conjunction with the YRMC Breast Care Center present a six game, day long basketball competition. Games will be held between the Prescott High School Badgers vs. The Prescott Valley Bradshaw Mountain Bears. The Box Out Breast Cancer Basketball event will have all proceeds going specifically to YRMC Breast Care Center and the Prescott high school and Bradshaw Mountain men’s and women’s basketball programs.

The Box Out Breast Cancer event will have Raffles, a Silent Auction, music from both Bradshaw Mountain and Prescott High School marching bands, dancing by Summer’s Dance Works and The Dance Studio, gymnastic demonstrations by Flip City and singing by the Prescott High and Bradshaw Show Choirs.

The newest sponsor, Freedom Station, has added onsite games of skill for all ages, with proceeds going to both organizations! The newest entertainment attraction now includes vocal performances by local “Prescott and Prescott Valley Idol finalists! “The program has taken off and we are excited with the newest additions to the event” says Cynthia Garner co organizer for the Box Out for Cancer games. This would not have reached its platform without the sponsorship of Blue Cross Blue Shield.

The schedule for game play will be; Saturday, December 10th 2011 freshmen girls at 12n and boys 1:30p, JV girls at 3:00p and boys 4:30p, followed by Varsity women at 6:00p and men at 8:00p. For donation questions and information on contributing to either of the organizations, contact Laurie Boaz, CPA at 928-445-0995. The Box Out Breast Cancer event will begin at 11am and end at 9pm at Tim’s Toyota Center. Admission will be $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for 13 and under.
