Holiday Traditions blaze the way with Mortimer Family Farms!

If what you’re looking for is some fun, 'down home', family entertainment while picking out that special tree to warm your home this season, Mortimer Family Farms is blazing the trail for yet another family tradition.

Christmas on the Farm is happening this weekend as a way to bring the community together for some good ole fashion holiday time festivities. Offering everything from live music, food and attraction vendors, warm campfires and roasting S’Mores to horse drawn carriage rides, you’re sure to find this weekend a refreshing return to the hometown community events so many of us  knew and loved.

"We’re so excited to be able to offer our historic farm as a way to initiate and re-awaken a sense of tradition and community to the people, and we concluded, what better time than the "warm” holiday season?" says Sharla Mortimer, Co-Owner of Mortimer Family Farms.

Reaching out, we’re hoping you’ll join them too in a special area where they’re writing holiday greetings to our soldiers and collecting food and toy donations for local agencies. "Remembering those who might do without and remembering we’re all in this together keeps us grounded in what matters most. That’s a trait we want to portray to the community, as well,” says Melissa Monahan, Events Coordinator for the blossoming farm. "We have a promising vision for what we’d like to achieve, and we’re really excited to be on our way! We certainly hope you’ll join us!”

Mortimer Family Farms offers live and fresh cut Christmas trees, wreaths and garland and unique holiday décor Wednesday – Sunday from 9-7 throughout the season, excluding Christmas.  Santa visits every weekend too (until the big day) to assist and visit with the little ones and give free Christmas hay rides!
