Fundraising car washes are rather frequent occurrences here in the tri-city area. It's a fast way to raise a decent amount of money, doesn't take an inordinate amount of organization effort and can be done by folks of all ages.
So, it won't be a surprise when we mention that there's another car wash on Friday, April 6, from 9:30 - 3:30 pm. It'll be held at Taco Bell in Frontier Village.
This one is to help raise money for Northpoint students that are going to Central America this spring for nearly three weeks. Part of their trip will be spent in Suchitoto, El Salvador, which is one of Prescott's Sister Cities.
And, besides, your car can use a bath, right? The $5-$7 suggested donation costs less than taking it to a drive-thru automated carwash, and it's for a great cause.
